Combustion analysis
Since the material properties change decisively even with small differences in the carbon and sulphur content of metals, elements in very low concentrations must be determined very precisely.
Concentration precisely determined
Combustion analysis is designed for the cost-effective determination of carbon and sulfur in a wide variety of metals, ores, ceramics and other inorganic solids. This method allows the quantitative determination of C and S contents in solids to be performed in a range from a few ppm to 10% by weight and above. The measuring principle is based on the non-dispersive infrared analysis, which allows a high accuracy of the method with short measuring times at the same time.
